July Values Award Winner – Bob Minnikin

We are delighted to announce that our July 2021 Value Award winner is… Bob Minnikin! Congratulations on taking out the Challenger Thinking Award.

The FACTION Monthly Value Award recognises and rewards members of the team that live our values: Value Creation, Passion, Collaboration, and Challenger Thinking.

Bob was nominated for his personification of FACTION’s ‘Challenger Thinking’ value. As a Non-Executive Director, we are so lucky to have Bob’s presence in the office each week to offer advice and to challenge our decision making process. Bob is an iconic figure in our industry for his incredible career spanning 50 years of major projects that have shaped the cultural landscape of South East Queensland – he was even awarded an MBE in 1983 for his work on the Commonwealth Games Project. Bob continues to stay at the front of the industry with his progressive attitude and challenger-thinking ethos, and his generous mentorship of our team has been vital in becoming the organisation we are today.

Our MD Gary Finnegan, who nominated Bob for the Challenger Thinking Award said; “Bob is our values brand ambassador. His specific approach to Challenger Thinking with the management team meetings is invaluable. He is an absolute exemplar of what Challenger Thinking is all about in our team and business.”
