Jake O’Neill presents at Women in Design and Construction (WIDAC) event!
Dynamic consultant and senior project manager on Suncorp Group‘s #80Ann, Jake O’Neill presented his experience and advice on getting into the industry at a Women in Design and Construction event.
Speaking on his motivations and life at FACTION, Jake said:
“Personally, I get the most satisfaction from unlocking the hidden value in a site, project, or scenario and seeing things from a different lens.
My advice for anyone interested in the industry would be to be your genuine, authentic self and try to not get caught up in the fact you may not know everything because no one does. Every day, you still continue to learn, which leads to my next point: never stop learning. The day you think you don’t have anything more to learn is the day you stop being effective, especially as a leader.
FACTION allows great people of the industry to come together and deliver exceptional results. It’s a great place to work, with a great flat structure. We all sit next to our directors and have conversations throughout the day, which makes working and learning at the same time a great experience.”
